Yanru CHENPhD student

Yanru CHEN, is currently dedicated to the research of foam concrete in the research group of Professor Sun Guoxing at the University of Macau. She explored the structure of foam concrete by X-CT technology, and investigated the mathematical relationship between structure and performance. She explores the shrinkage process of foam concrete and the shrinkage reduction methods, such as magnesium oxide and calcium oxide-based expansive agents. Taking advantage of the durability of nano-foam concrete when soaked in seawater and the energy absorption capacity of its porous structure, She designs a fiber composite buffer material based on foam concrete for the protection of bridge piers at sea.
