Tongyuan LiuPhD student
Tongyuan Liu, Ph.D. candidate at the Institute of Applied Physics and Materials Engineering, University of Macau, graduated from Jilin University in June 2023. During his undergraduate studies, he conducted research on molecular dynamics simulations of ionizable lipid nanoparticles under the supervision of Prof. Lü Zhongyuan. He joined the Institute of Applied Physics and Materials Engineering at the University of Macau as a Research Assistant in November 2023, and commenced his doctoral studies in August 2024, and he enjoys playing badminton and table tennis.
His current research focuses on molecular dynamics and first-principles calculations of surfactants and polymeric admixtures in silicate materials. He has contributed computational work to projects involving flexible conductive hydrogels and the adsorption of in-situ polymerized polymers on cement matrices. In his leisure time,
