On April 15, Prof. Guoxing Sun , together with PhD students Yasen Li  and Zuhua Xu  from the research group, traveled to Zhongshan to attend the 2026“蒙粤港澳”关键材料与智能健康产学研用合作会议, jointly organized by Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and Macau University of Science and Technology. At the conference, Prof. Sun Guoxing delivered an excellent presentation entitled Application of Polymer Nanocomposites in Building Materials.

Focusing on key materials and intelligent health, the conference aimed to build a cross‑regional and interdisciplinary platform for cooperation and academic exchange. Distinguished leaders and guests including Chen Ming, Deputy Director‑General of the Department of Education of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region; Hu He, Secretary of the Party Committee of Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology; Zhang Xinfang, Vice President of Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology; Alexander Wong, Deputy President and Provost of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University; and Xu Xiaoli, Vice Chairperson of the Zhongshan Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference attended the conference and delivered speeches, sharing important insights on regional collaborative innovation and industry‑university‑research cooperation.

The conference not only broadened the academic horizons of the research group members but also strengthened friendship and cooperation with peers. In the future, the research group will maintain a proactive and enterprising attitude toward scientific research, turn the gains from academic exchanges into research momentum, stay down‑to‑earth and dedicated to inquiry, and strive to achieve more solid results in the field of materials science.
